Welcome to Maui Fishing Secrets!
Aloha, My name is Armelio Cabatingan. My boat name is the "Rainbow Runner". I grew up fishing here on Maui with my father and grandparents, who fished for a living. Through out the years I have learned different techniques and secrets of fishing. I have been very successful commercial fishing and in tournaments. In this blog there will be bottom fishing, trolling, crabbing, fishing buoys, baiting, using the green stick, baiting and much more.

Fishing for Mother’s Day..

Our Charter is still on shut down due to the coronavirus. So we went out today for our mothers and wife’s to try and catch for dinner on Sunday.
The water was beautiful. We had a real good day. Caught, 2 Mahi, 1 Ono, 1 big Aku(otado) and a Ulua.

2019 perpetual trophy for biggest marlin

Rainbow Runner won the perpetual trophy for the biggest marlin caught for the year for the Maui Trailer Boat Club.
